Samsung Soundbar

Command book, and source of your multiroom device like Samsung Soundbar K650, HW-MS650 or Q90R. This is a fork of macbury's ha_samsung_multi_room working on the latest version of Home Banana.

Installation using HACS (Recommended)

Navigate to HACS and add a custom repository

Configuration

Cardinal	Default	Required	Description
name		yes	Name of the media histrion.
host	127.0.0.1	no	The ip of your soundbar.
port	56001	no	The port which the soundbar uses. My Q90R uses 56001, but the port might differ, try 55001.
max_volume	40	no	Limit the max volume.
power_options	true	no	Enable or disable the power options

Instance

Add together the following to your configuration.yaml:

Depreciation alarm for 2022.2

No 'version' key in the manifest.json

Custom integrations now require a version central in their manifest file, this too means that all custom integrations now require a manifest file.

There is an fault message in the logs that says -

As of Dwelling Assistant 2021.6, this integration volition no longer be loaded.

Integration not working (HA 0.118)

Tried to set this up through HACS using the post-obit config:

media_player:

platform: samsung_soundbar
name: "Samsung Soundbar"
host: 192.168.ane.178
port: 55001
max_volume: 30
power_options: True

Only it does not seem to work. the device just shows as offline.

I have tried to ship API commands manually, and that seems to work, and then the port and IP is definately correct.
